My artistic background is wide and varied. Having earned my undergraduate degree in Musical theater, I am a performer as well as a visual artist. I find that my skills as a performer greatly inform my processes as a visual artist and vice versa. Perhaps it is because of what they share, despite the form; Whether on canvas or the stage, my art tells a story.
As a creative, I aim for connection, beauty, and simplicity in every project (and a touch of silliness when appropriate! Why create if you aren't having fun doing it?). Those qualities are also core values in my everyday life. As they say, art imitates life, so it's only fitting that those values have come to define my artistic style.
I believe art has the power to start conversations and inspire positive change. My branding approach works to achieve exactly that by utilizing a unique and strategic process that marries ingenuity, specificity, and accessibility. I find that a brand is only as effective as it is affective. That is to say, what a brand offers in the tangible sense is just as important as how it makes us feel.
